These drawings started as simple rhythmic sketches of Town Lake and the surrounding urban landscape of Austin, Texas. After numerous lake drawings, where the reflection of water is a main focus, I began doing some I called field drawings, that seemed to rest on dry ground. It was after a wonderfully stirring concert that I began imagining these lines as sound, which then led to the sound drawings.
