Migration
These works came in a burst this summer that belied the lassitude of the Texas heat. A departure from my previous work, the Migration series utilizes the white space of the page to give a sense of space to the movement of the strokes. The paintings flow one into the next, collectively creating a story of transit in layers of movement.
