La Friche

Exhibited at Lichtundfire, New York City. Part of “Perfect/Imperfect”

This 2-sided painting can hang in the middle of a room, or be hung on a rail to turn from one side to the other.

Painted in Chicago, it reflects architectural details and chainlink fences. “La Friche” means wildland in French, and was the name for the warped wing of the enormous building where Wright lived in a squat in Paris.
